MAICO ER 60

MAICO ER 60 fan is made in several modifications. The choice of a fan with proper functions depends on the purpose of a room. For instance, for a toilet a great option would be a device with a built-in timer, and for a bathroom – a fan with a humidity or light sensor would be a proper choice.

MAICO ER 60 fan with panel and filter is designed for installation in recessed-mounted housings (ER-UPB, ER-UP/G, ER-UPD) and comes in a standard modification. It is used for the implementation of exhaust ventilation of one or two rooms. For easy installation, the fan is provided with a plug-in electrical connection and snap-on mounting. The construction is designed in such way that a client can easily change filters without any special tools.

You can align the installed housing due to the possibility of turning the cover by ± 5 °. The device is made in a classic white color and thus can be combined with any interior design. The degree of protection IP X5 allows installation in areas with high humidity level and protects against splashing water.
For these exhaust fans there are 3 options of housing for hidden installation:

• Maico ER-UP/G. Requires connection diameter of air ducts – 75 or 80 mm. The case has a small size, which allows installation almost anywhere (in walls, airshafts, suspended ceilings). ER-UP/G is designed for class B2 premises (with normal flammability level).
• Maico ER-UPB. The case is designed for fans ER 60 and ER 100. It can be installed in any position, and this greatly facilitates the connection of the entire structure. Housing for hidden mounting is made of materials, resistant to high temperatures with a special fire protection system.
• Maico ER-UPD. Its body is equipped with a maintenance-free fire protection shut-off device K 90-18017. It also has metal exhaust socket DN 75/80 with a metal shut-off device and an airstream-operated release mechanism. This housing can also be installed inside or outside the airshaft, in a wall or a ceiling.

It is also worth paying attention to the EC motor, which guarantees an efficient and long-term work with minimal energy consumption. In addition, the motor is equipped with a thermal overload protection.

• MAICO ER 60 VZ – with a time delay switch (start delay – 50 seconds, overrun time – 6 minutes);
• MAICO ER 60 VZ 15 – with a time delay switch (15 minute overrun time);
• MAICO ER 60 VZC – with adjustable time delay switch (start delay can be set from 0 to 150 seconds, the overrun time can be adjusted from 1.5 minutes to 24 minutes);
• MAICO ER 60 F – with light control;
• MAICO ER 60 G – with base load circuit (the unit runs in continuous operation at 35 m3/h.);
• MAICO ER 60 GVZ – with base load circuit and time delay switch (the unit runs in continuous operation at 35 m3/h. Switching to full load with start delay of 50 seconds. Full load overrun time 6 minutes);
• MAICO ER 60 GVZC EC – with EC motor, base load circuit and time delay (the unit runs in continuous operation at 35 m3/h. Switching to full load with adjustable start delay (0/0.5/1/2/3 minutes). Adjustable overrun time of the full load level (0/1/3/6/15 minutes);
• MAICO ER 60 H – with humidity control and base load circuit (switch-on point: 60-90 % relative humidity);
• MAICO ER 60 I – with interval control (time interval adjustable from 1 to 15 hours).

MAICO ER 100

This is a model in its standard modification with adjustable rotation speed and air flow rate of 101 m3/ h. It allows to organize air extraction of one or two rooms using a single fan. Characteristics and equipment of the device are almost identical to the model ER 60. The main difference between them is the air flow volume.

Supply and exhaust ventilation: a combination of MAICO ER and Push Pull 45

When organizing exhaust ventilation, it is important to remember about the necessity to compensate the air exhausted by supply ventilation. It is possible to organize the air flow in a natural way, but such solution will not be 100% effective, therefore it is recommended to install a forced ventilation system on the basis of the supply and exhaust unit with heat recovery Maico PP 45.

Maico ER exhaust fans can be combined with air handling units with heat recovery Push Pull 45. This combination is an ideal option for those who have already completed repairs or have no room for a centralized system. The main advantages of MAICO Push Pull 45 are small dimensions, compared with centralized installations, and the ability to install it after renovation works.

The ventilation unit is installed in clean areas(bedrooms, living rooms, children’s rooms), and exhaust fans – in bathrooms, toilets, storerooms and walk-in closets. For the most efficient air exchange and convenient control of work, all the equipment is connected to one control panel. When the fan is off, Push Pull carries out both supply and exhaust of the air, but while the fan is running, MAICO PP only operates on air inflow.
